JSON Assertions in SOAP UI 5.2.1

I created a new JSON assertion in SOAP UI 5.2.1. I save the project into a xml file by exporting it. I close SOAP UI and try to access the saved project but I see that SOAP UI mentions that "Assertion unknown". I have to rerun the project to enabe the assertions.
